About Arlene

I was born and educated in Trinidad, WI and then lived in London, England for over 30 years, where I was employed at the United States Embassy in Grosvenor Square, London. During the many years of employment there, I held various positions in the Housing Office, assisting with leasing and purchasing properties for the Government's portfolio, and also selling properties which no longer met the government's requirements. I was responsible for finding homes for American diplomats who were assigned for their tours of duty in England, Northern Ireland and Scotland. In 2000, I emigrated to the United States with three of my four children and have worked in Real Estate with Weichert Realtors since that time. Over the past 20 years, I have rented and sold properties in many areas of Northern Virginia. I have worked with buyers and sellers in many aspects of this industry - foreclosures, short sales, with Relocation companies, with Embassies and corporate entities. I have also negotiated some Commercial rentals for office space in Arlington County.
